What we collect and what we do not, and the terms the subscription is sold under. Effective September 1, 2026.
G3 HVAC PrepBOX ("we", "us") provides exam preparation for the Ontario G3 Gas Technician certification. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who else handles it. We have tried to write it plainly rather than defensively.
Your study progress — answers, scores, streak, challenge bank, exam date and settings — is stored in your browser and is not sent to us. We cannot see how you are doing. Clearing your browser data erases it, and we cannot restore it.
Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach our systems. We receive only enough to know whether your subscription is active.
We use these services to run the product. Each holds only what its job requires.
Your account and subscription record are kept while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove them. Payment records are retained by Stripe for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is outside our control.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data. Write to support@g3hvacprepbox.com and we will respond within 30 days.
We use no advertising or analytics cookies and do not track you across other sites. The app stores data in your browser to keep you signed in and to remember your progress and settings. That storage is necessary for the app to work.
This is a professional certification study tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes we will update the date below. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
G3 HVAC PrepBOX is a study tool for the Ontario G3 Gas Technician certification exam. It provides practice questions, timed mock exams, progress tracking and reference material.
We do not guarantee that you will pass. Content is provided for study purposes and may contain errors. Always rely on the current official codes and your own training. If you spot something wrong, tell us — that is the fastest way it gets fixed for everyone.
You need an account to subscribe. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. One account is for one person — sharing an account or your login is not permitted.
The 20-question mock exam is free and always will be. Topic quizzes, full practice tests, the Master Exam, the challenge bank, detailed statistics and the study reference require an active subscription.
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel. Payment is taken by Stripe on the day of renewal.
Cancel any time from Settings → Manage subscription. No need to contact us, and nothing to explain.
Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for — cancelling on day two of a month does not cut you off on day two.
For renewals, if you meant to cancel and a renewal caught you out, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will consider a refund case by case. We also refund genuine billing errors, such as being charged twice for the same period.
Nothing here removes any right you have under Ontario or Canadian consumer protection law.
We may change prices. Existing subscribers will be told by email at least 30 days before a change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we do so without good cause, we will refund the unused part of the period.
We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Once installed on your device, the app keeps working offline using content already downloaded.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for exam results, lost opportunities, or any indirect loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
