Aim for 80% in this app. The real G3 exam passes at 75%, so hitting 80% here gives you a buffer for exam-day nerves and question wording you have not seen before.
Same question bank and same features. Corrections we make reach both. The main differences are that the web version handles subscriptions through Stripe rather than Google Play, and it needs an account so your subscription can follow you between devices.
So your subscription belongs to you rather than to one browser. Sign in on your phone, your laptop, or a new device and your access comes with you. Without an account there would be no way to prove you had paid.
No. The free mock exam works signed out. You only need an account to subscribe or to restore a subscription you already have.
Yes. Sign in with the same email on any device and your subscription is there. Study progress, though, is stored separately in each browser and does not sync between them.
On the sign-in screen, type your email address and then tap "Forgot your password?". We send a link that lets you set a new one. It works once and expires after an hour, so use it soon after it arrives.
No. The Android app bills through Google Play and the website bills through Stripe, and the two are separate. A subscription bought in one does not unlock the other.
Open g3hvacprepbox.com in Safari — it must be Safari, as other browsers on iOS cannot install web apps. Tap the Share button, scroll down, and choose "Add to Home Screen". It then opens full screen with its own icon, like any other app.
Open the site in Chrome. You should be offered "Install app" or "Add to Home screen", either as a prompt or in the ⋮ menu. There is also a native Android app on Google Play if you prefer.
It opens full screen without browser bars, loads faster, works offline, and — importantly on iPhone — your saved progress is far less likely to be cleared. Safari deletes stored data for websites you have not visited in a while, but leaves installed apps alone.

Yes. Answers save as you go. Close the tab whenever you like and pick up where you left off on the same device.

No. Each attempt draws a fresh random sample, balanced across topics, with no question repeated inside one exam.
Your answers are saved and you can return and continue — but the clock does not stop. The 3 hours 30 minutes runs from when you started, whether the tab is open or not, exactly as it would on exam day. Come back after four hours and it will have submitted itself.
The exam submits automatically with whatever you have answered. Unanswered questions count as incorrect, the same as the real exam.
Yes. The point is to find out how you perform under exam conditions. Treat it as the real thing — quiet room, no notes, no interruptions.
Every question you get wrong is saved here automatically. It is your personal weak-spots list — drill it regularly and it turns mistakes into things you know.
Answer one correctly there and it is removed. The list shrinks as you improve, which is the point.
Yes. Wrong answers from any mode — Topics, Practice Tests, the Master Exam, or the free mock — all land in the Challenge Bank.
The 20-question mock exam, and it always will be. It pulls from the full bank, so it is a fair sample rather than a teaser.
Everything else: all Topic Quizzes, all four Practice Tests, the Master Exam, the Challenge Bank, your Stats dashboard, and the Study Reference.
$9.99 CAD a month, or $49.99 CAD a year. Both renew automatically until you cancel.
Settings → Manage subscription. That opens Stripe's billing page where you can cancel in a couple of clicks. No need to email us and nothing to explain.
You keep everything until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling on day two of a month does not cut you off on day two.
First payments are not refundable — the whole question bank unlocks immediately, so a purchase cannot really be undone once used. That is why the free mock exam exists: try it first. For renewals, if you meant to cancel and a renewal caught you out, write to us within 14 days and we will look at it. Genuine billing errors are always refunded.
Wait about fifteen seconds and refresh — confirmation from Stripe occasionally arrives a moment after you get back to the site. If it is still locked after that, email support@g3hvacprepbox.com with the date you paid and we will sort it within 48 hours.
Stripe emails one for every payment. You can also find all your invoices under Settings → Manage subscription.
In your browser, on your device. It is not sent to us — we cannot see your scores. That keeps things private, but it also means progress does not follow you to another device.
Yes, if you clear your browser data. On iPhone, Safari also clears stored data for sites you have not opened in a while — installing the app to your home screen prevents that. Your subscription is safe either way, because it lives with your account rather than your browser.
Once you have opened it, yes. Questions, quizzes and your progress all work without a connection. You need internet to sign in, to subscribe, and occasionally so the app can confirm your subscription is still active.
Settings → Reset All Progress. It clears answers, stats and the Challenge Bank on that device. It does not touch your account or subscription.
Please tell us. Settings → Contact Us, choose "Wrong Answer or Content Error", and describe the question — the wording helps us find it fastest. We check every report against the code, and corrections reach everyone automatically.
